"A
Heritage of Love & Learning"
Life-size
Memorial bronze sculpture scene of Teacher reading to Children
All
Sculptures on this Site Are Available for Purchase
This bronze scene particularly suited to Libraries, schools and
children's centers
This
sculpture scene was created of Judy Svajgr who was a beloved teacher
in Cozad, Nebraska by her husband, Al Svajgr. Mr. Svajgr was
instrumental in helping the new Cozad Wilson Public Library to become
a reality, after which Mr. Svajgr searched from California, Colorado,
Arizona and around the country to find just the right sculptor to
capture his wife in memorial bronze. Al commissioned Tom to
create this scene and then donated it to the library. This scene
is available for purchase by the public for personal use or for
charitable donations to libraries, schools, churches or other
cherished institutions.

Learning”, Wilson Public
Library, Cozad, NE
“I
would be glad to express my thoughts of working with Tom on the bronze
depicting my wife, Judy, with her favorite pastime, helping children
learn and grow.
The Cozad Library now contains the first life-size bronze to be
placed in a public place in our town … Tom was super in his
creativity of depicting a real legacy of learning.
As a family, we are extremely pleased with the final result of
sculpting and the patina.
The colors come alive in the earth color setting of the new
library.
Tom was very deliberate in the many months he worked on the
final clay models.
Each time we could see his intent to get it right for us.
I know this was one of his first life-sized sculptures and he
did a great job of getting all angels of Judy “just right”.
Good works are worth waiting for and worth the price.
I have nothing but good to say about the final work and we are
glad we chose Tom for this meaningful piece of art.
Tom’s creativity and ability to capture the moment are great
assets.
Good luck with your future endeavors, Tom.”
