Unveiling photos of Medal of Honor Recipient Sp5c Clarence E. Sasser -
Memorial Bronze Brazoria County Ring of Honor, Veteran's Day 2010 |
The
Brazoria County Ring of Honor
(donations accepted through
their website) commissioned a memorial
bronze of Medal of Honor Recipient Sp5c Clarence E. Sasser and
of a Gold Star Mom receiving her flag for her fallen soldier to
represent all the soldiers who have served from Brazoria County,
Texas throughout the years and through many wars. We, Tom & Marcey White, were
privileged to meet with Clarence in February '08 in preparation
for this memorial bronze. Clarence is a shy and humble man
who saved many lives in Vietnam where he served as a medic.
His acts of bravery and MOH citation can be read here:

Clarence is depicted below with other,
fellow soldiers who served with him and beside the finished
sculpture on Veterans' Day 2010. |

| This Medal of Honor Recipient military sculpture of one of our American heroes was created by Tom White and was unveiled on Veterans' Day 2011 at the Brazoria County Courthouse, Angleton, TX. It will be placed in the 40 ft. "Ring of Honor" Veterans War Memorial along with the life-size of the Gold Star Mom Tom also created. These memorials are dedicated in appreciation and deep humility for the sacrifices born by our military AND their families. They have our deepest love, respect and appreciation now and forever ... | Tom specializes in military statues and soldier sculpture scenes from all eras and cultures of World History. It is his highest honor and privilege to capture the brave men and women who have served our country throughout American History and their families who have sacrificed right along with them. If you have an idea for a warrior, soldier or military placement, please do not hesitate to call to discuss the project. It is Tom's desire to create a scene also honoring our Wounded Warriors and Heroes. |
