Numerous references in both Old and New Testaments refer to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as the "rock of our salvation."  Tom created the life-size bronze statue of Jesus seated on a rock outcropping, welcoming those around him to freely come to him for forgiveness of sins and eternal life...
