The life-size sculptures depict Brittiney Wish Bevin (1985-2003) and her love of children as evidenced by her work in Summer Mission Trips to Romanian and Indian Orphanages. Brittiney, a beautiful young woman inside and out, is featured in portrait bronze with the child on her back. This life-size bronze sculpture scene depicts the acceptance, joy and passion of Christ welcoming children of all ages into His Loving Arms both here and in heaven! Tom loves capturing children in portrait bronze. Artist, Tom White, and his wife, Marcey, donate a portion of their proceeds from the sale of their religious sculptures to various missions ministries to help spread the Gospel and to help various Youth Ministries. Missions are dear to the heart of Tom & Marcey White as their daughter, Paige Pittman, is a missionary to the country of Nicaragua through Peace and Hope Trust and is heavily involved in taking teams of young people on short-term mission trips to help the impoverished and unreached children, youths and adults of Nicaragua. |

The "Welcome the Children" scene
with two new ethnic children of Hispanic and African descent are
shown in this installation at Urban Community
School, Cleveland,
Ohio. The children at the school have named all of
the sculptures in the scene and lovingly sit in Christ's lap or
touch his hand on a regular basis. Sister Maureen Doyle
was instrumental in the placement of the sculptures through a
private beneficiary and in the building of the new school
facility.
