Tom White – artist, sculptor,
     family man, Christian

Tom White, currently of Prescott Valley, AZ, grew up in Midland, Texas, where he was a carpenter who had no exposure to art.  He literally never gave it a thought before entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in his early 30s.  Shortly thereafter he discovered an unexpected and hidden talent and love for art.
Tom knew he had "found his niche" when he first touched the clay.   He took his first sculpture, a native American (entitled "Edgewalker") to one of the larger foundries in Texas for casting.  They were amazed that he could capture so much emotion and detail in his portrait bronze without 20-years experience.  Tom acknowledges his distinct talent as a gift from God, and seeks to reflect the Creator by mirroring His love and emotion for His creation in each bronze sculpture he creates.  His attention to detail makes each subject come alive under Tom's patient, steadfast hands.
Tom is first and foremost, a family man, and depends on his wife, Marcey, as the manager of both his business and the family.  Without her, he says, nothing would get done and he wouldn't have an art career.  "She's the ‘glue’ in our family and business, and takes care of all of the administrative things that I am not good at. This enables me to have the time to create ... Our children and grandchildren are the great joys of our lives and everything we do is for them and to show them how to honor God, be productive and give back to others."
As shown in the photo above, Tom and Marcey love spending time with family more than anything — it is what refreshes their hearts and allows Tom the peace to create scenes for other people of those they respect, love and want to honor.  They have five wonderful children Audra, Caleb, Paige, Jeremiah and Mackenzie, and ten grandchildren – Gavin, Claire, Vance, Isabella, Liam, Tucker, Marcus, Teddy, Jocelyn and Foster – celebrating life and God's love together.
