the American Vietnam soldier is a "Works
in Progress" for an 8 ft. monumental
bronze at the Veterans Cemetery in Big
Piney, Wyoming. Tom is also working on a sculpture of Sir
Barnes Wallis to be placed in Herne Bay, Kent, England - the
story of his invention of the bouncing bomb in WWII is told
in the move, "Dambusters". Tom is also doing a
sculpture of the Irish Labor Leader, James Connolly, to be
placed in downtown Chicago as well as upcoming projects of a
Medal of Honor Recipient and Gold Star Mom for a Veterans
Memorial in Texas. These
sculptures are being created in Tom White's studio in
Bethel, Maine. Tom is happy to create your own family
- perfect for memorial gardens.

  Tom
White, a native West Texan from Midland is a self-taught artist,
who created his first sculpture of a Native American Indian "Edgewalker"
in 1994. Tom began
experimenting in pencil, pastel, wood and various mediums for
the first time at the age of 30 in 1991. Since that
time, Tom has firmly established himself as a world
class figurative bronze sculptor who specializes
in the ability to bring to life his subjects' character and deep emotions in
memorial bronze sculptures. According to Tom, "every face tells a story" and
he is there to capture the story in lasting bronze with vivid
attention to detail and with passionate energy.
Tom is happy to create life-size and/or monumental bronze sculpture scenes
for families, businesses, churches, schools, and communities
and clubs. Tom's life-size Public Art sculpture scenes
can be found in libraries, schools, parks, churches and
cemeteries in Nebraska, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio, Florida
and in 2008 in Canada, England, Wyoming and Chicago, as well as in private
collections across the country.
