BSA's "Summit Reserve" honors visionaries...

At the 2013 National Jamboree in West Virginia, a portrait monumental bronze statue of Stephen D. Bechtel was unveiled honoring the key donor for the land  and development of the 10,600-acre high adventure camp.

This was one of 11 eight-foot sculptures designed and created by Tom White – a three-year effort commissioned by the Boy Scout foundation for the Summit Bechtel Reserve, new permanent home for the Scout Jamboree.  Read more...
